Cake pops are one of the most popular cakes in the cake industry, and they’re a popular cake pop, as well.
Cake pops come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, and the popular shapes include the classic ‘cake pops’, which are made from paper cake pops, and ‘pie sticks’, which have been adapted to resemble the look of a slice of cake.
Custom cakes, meanwhile, are the best-selling type of cake pop and come in many different shapes and colors.
Custom cake pops can be made from any standard cake mix and can also come in shapes that are quite popular among cake pop makers, such as the ‘cinnamon bun cake pops’.
However, there are a lot of different types of custom cakes that you can make with this cake pop recipe.
We’ve already covered how to make the classic cake pops above, and now we’ll go over some of the more popular cakes.
This cake pop makes the perfect ‘cake pop stick’ You’ll need: 1 teaspoon of sugar 2 tablespoons of baking powder 1/4 teaspoon of salt 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract 1 cup of milk 1 cup cake pop mix (we recommend using a standard cake pop) 1 cup white icing, powdered or cake mix (optional) 1 teaspoon cake flour 1 teaspoon cinnamon sugar or sugar substitute 1 cup water 1 cup powdered sugar or instant sugar substitute Method: Combine the sugar and baking powder in a large bowl and stir with a fork until the sugar is dissolved.
Add the salt and vanilla and stir to combine.
Add 1 tablespoon milk and mix until combined.
Add 3 tablespoons of cake mix to the dry ingredients and mix to combine thoroughly.
Add in the vanilla and mix thoroughly.
You should have a smooth mixture that has a consistency similar to cake flour.
Form into a smooth circle and wrap it around the cake pop.
Form it into a ball and wrap another round around the base of the cake.
This helps prevent it from sticking to the sides of the pan.
Cover the cake with a plastic wrap and let it sit for about 10 minutes, or until the cake pops firm up.
Repeat with the rest of the ingredients.
Enjoy your cake pop!
Recipe Notes: We like to use the regular cake mix for our custom cakes.
You can use regular or powdered cake mix, but we find that the regular is easier to work with and can easily be reused.
If you’re making a cake pop from scratch, be sure to use a standard mix, as it’s usually easier to mix the ingredients together.
You may also want to add the sugar in the final step, if you’d like a stronger cake pop flavor.
