Ingredients 1/4 cup coconut oil (or olive oil) 1 cup honey 1 cup blueberries 2 cups of all purpose flour 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/8 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1/1 cup unsalted butter, melted 3 cups powdered sugar 1 cup unschooled yellow cake mix 2 cups milk 1 cup fresh blueberries, cut into 1/6 inch cubes 2 cups orange juice (or juice of 1 lemon) Instructions Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place the coconut oil in a large pot.
Add the honey and blueberries.
Cook over medium heat for 1 minute.
Add flour and brown sugar.
Cook for 2 minutes, then whisk in the salt and vanilla.
Mix until smooth.
Add in the butter and stir until combined.
Cook on low heat for 10 minutes.
Stir in the powdered sugar.
Add orange juice and stir again.
Cook until the mixture is smooth and the butter is melted.
Add milk and stir.
Stir until the milk is thickened.
Remove from heat and cool completely.
Add blueberries to the mixture and mix again.
Serve with the whipped cream.
Recipe Notes This recipe can also be made using milk.
The consistency will vary depending on your flour.
